I found this text file on my BlackBerry.  I’d forgotten that I had been taking notes during our vacation in March.  I figure this is a pretty good place to store them.

 We have a tradition with our god-daughter and her parents. Every year, around this time, we get together at our house for an afternoon of carving pumpkins into spooky and hideous Jack ‘o Lanterns. Well, actually, they’re really quite beautiful and not hideous at all.
