I have to stop giving an estimate of when the next post will happen. I never seem to make the deadline. I spent some more time on the model build. I have spent approximately 8 hours or so to this point. The wing is just about complete with about 2 hours of work left to do with that sub-assembly. (more…)

I’m going to try to keep track of my first RC aircraft build project. Sharon gave me a Great Planes Super Sportster II 40 sized kit for Christmas. I started construction yesterday. I want this to be a bit of a winter project so I’ll be taking my time for sure. The first steps in the project have been pretty easy so far. Glue a couple of parts together, a little sanding here and so on. (more…)
