6 months wait for an orthopedic appointment? I think you're being spoiled out there on the east coast. Here in Ottawa, the wait tops 2 years for some sub-specialties of orthopedics. Right now, the knee docs have a 9-12 month wait list - for a consultation! God knows what the surgery list is like.

NUTS! is right!

hmmm....can I get Sharon to come home for a visit and go with me to the orthopedics dept at St Clare's?

Perhaps I can get my knee done before I am too old, fat, and outta shape to consider a return to ball hockey (or any other activity that requires the ability to move at a rate faster than a brisk walk or to perform lateral movement)!

May 08 - injured knee at hockey. GP says probably torn ligament or cartilage (can't remember which). X-ray reveals nothing.

June 08 - GPs office sets up appt with ortho doc - for DECEMBER 08!

???? 09 - scope?

???? 09 possible operation and rehab

NUTS!

I think our goddaughter's family needs to suck it up and sign the papers to get into the new house. I'll tell you about it (albeit a much shortened version) when we next meet.
